Dr. Phillips grew up in Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated summa cum laude with her bachelor’s degree in biology from Birmingham-Southern College and received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingam. She completed her combined residency training in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University Hospital and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Phillips joined Tennessee Medicine and Pediatrics in 2007.
Dr. Phillips is board certified by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Physicians. She enjoys providing primary care to patients of all ages. She is passionate about educating patients and empowering them to be active participants in their medical care.
Dr. Phillips enjoys music, dancing, and the performing arts. She and her husband enjoy travelling and exploring new and unique places.
Lab hours are 8:00 am - 4:30 pmIf you are instructed to fast, please do not eat or drink anything with calories in it for 12 hours prior to your blood test.
