Joanne Whitworth is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who joined Tennessee Medicine and Pediatrics in 2024. Originally obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management/Marketing, she worked within multiple medical specialty practices at an administrative capacity, before realizing her dream was patient care and to pursue a career in nursing. In 2018, she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Marian University, gaining membership to Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society.
She then went on to earn her Master's degree from the University of North Alabama in 2024 where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. She has a nursing background in Urology, Dermatology, Podiatry, Emergency Medicine/Medical Surgical Nursing, and Plastic Surgery.
Joanne is married with two girls and has lived in Murfreesboro for 17 years. She is excited to offer Primary Care needs for patients within the community she calls home!
